During the next stage of the consultation process, we are holding a series of community engagement events. These will take place across the eight identified growth areas and provide residents with an opportunity to discuss progress on the new Local Plan. We want to hear more from you about where development should take place in Thurrock and what it should include.
These eight identified growth areas are:
- South Ockendon
- Horndon on the Hill
- Stanford-le-Hope
- Corringham
- Orsett
- East Tilbury
- Bulphan
- Chadwell St Mary
Given the uncertainty around the new Omicron variant, the consultation events in the new year, Horndon-on-the-Hill, Stanford-le-Hope, and Corringham will take place virtually.
